The City of Orlando is Offering a Kitchen Recycling Class on November 7th.
As responsible people, we must be mindful of our environmental impact. Ever-increasing levels of pollution and accumulations of discarded waste products threaten our planet. Do your part in helping to reduce these environmental threats by learning how to recycle your kitchen waste. Attend the City of Orlando and IFAS’s free Kitchen Recycling & Composting Workshop on Saturday, November 7th. Some of the benefits of attendance include:
- Learning how everyday yard and kitchen wastes can be transformed into useful nutrient-rich compost for soil conditioning, fertilizing, and naturally eliminating garden pests
- Finding out more about the city’s grease recycling program
- Learning about where you can legally dispose of non-composted food waste
- Earning a chance of receiving a free composter
Effectively handling wastes is a crucial task in kitchen maintenance and the overall upkeep of your residence. Mitigating potential fire risks is another important but less controllable issue. So, if you ever need fire damage remediation, call SERVPRO of South Orange County at (407) 226-2621.
