Sewage damage in the crawl space of this Orlando home

SERVPRO of South Orange County first order of business when we arrived onsite was to assess the loss and apprised the homeowner of his options and determined the best course of action to get the area clean and safe quickly and cost-effectively. The first thing our technicians did was contain the area by sealing off the crawlspace and disabling any mechanical systems that might have passed airborne pathogens into the home. Next, we used our special equipment to remove the solid waste and sewer water safely and quickly. We then removed and safely disposed of any insulation that was damaged. Finally, our technicians cleaned and decontaminated not only the sewage, but also any mold growth that had occurred.
